Steven Cline was born in the city of Atlanta, but spent the majority of his formative years growing up in the wild nowhere-lands of rural Georgia. It was there that he befriended a possum, a tick, and a slug. He jumped from one small town to another, but eventually he returned to the city of his birth. Steven discovered surrealism through the writing of Franklin Rosemont and the Chicago Surrealist Group. This led to experiments with automatic writing and collage, and to a general disordering of his senses. He now also participates in a local surrealist group in Atlanta, where they spend their time playing games, reciting dreams, and generally living the good surr-life. Steven lives in an unending pursuit of the marvelous, and he hopes to abolish capitalism one day.
